Our psychiatry expert: Dr Michael Spencer
Dr Spencer is experienced in undertaking psychiatric assessments for the purpose of preparing CPR35-compliant Expert Medical Reports, as an independent Expert Witness for the Court.
He has given expert medical evidence in the High Court; has also undergone specialist Expert Witness training by Bond Solon and has passed the Cardiff University Law School Bond Solon Expert Witness Certificate course.
Dr Spencer has a particular interest in the interactions that can exist between physical and psychological conditions, particularly in chronic pain and psychological trauma.

Our Psychiatry Expert, Dr Michael Spencer, has been a co-organiser of the not-for-profit Cambridge Annual Medico-Legal Conference since 2014.
This is the pre-eminent conference in the medicolegal calendar, with a particular focus on pain and the multidisciplinary approach; and in 2024 we are delighted that The Honourable Mr Justice Ritchie will be our keynote speaker.
